   The Aquameter Galaxy compass was the largest compass manufactured by Aquameter. The clear dome of the Galaxy compass measures 5-3/8" in diameter. The Galaxy was manufactured originally by the Aquameter Co. until the company was sold to Rule Industries and then manufactured under the Danforth name. Most of the replacement parts are still available and it is still a very serviceable compass. If your Galaxy does not look as nice as this one that was just repaired in 2006 then maybe it is time to send it to Viking Instruments.
